How does the format of these meetings work? Do I just show up? Do we discuss the books? When do you guys read the books?
ReplyDeleteYes, you just show up and get to know us. We are really fun and easy going when it comes to reading and keeping up. There is no reading assignment for the first week, we just set the schedule and the reading pace for everyone. If you want to send us an email (anteaterbookclub@clubs.uci.edu), we can add you to the e-mail list.
ReplyDeleteWe read the books on our own during the week (about half the book will be assigned during the previous meeting) and we just spend the hour discussing what we read during the week. We do keep to a schedule when it comes to the readings, but we are a small group and are VERY flexible.
